About the event
These five seasoned musicians perform a unique blend of vintage blues, including the formative Chicago-style electric blues from the 1950s, ‘60s and beyond. Legendary blues artists like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Howling Wolf, Buddy Guy, and Freddie King are all represented, along with lesser-known artists who helped shape the genre and newer musicians who’ve kept the blues flame burning through the decades. Their love of vintage Chicago-style blues inspires their arrangements and performances, giving audiences a tasty helping of authentic roots music.
This year's series is planned for Thursday evenings, July 14 - August 11 between 6 and 8 PM in Center Memorial Park. Please be mindful of any COVID-related advisories which may change between now and then.
